Experience tango
BOrn and Raised in Hong Kong, J’s first encounter with Argentine tango came through the cinema of Wong Kar-wai.
Trained in ballet from childhood, she later graduated from art school and built a career as a Senior UX Designer in Silicon Valley before leaving tech to study tango at its root in Argentina.
Through both performance and teaching, J invites people to connect with themselves, with each other, and with art—using movement as a path toward presence, meditation, joy, and liberation.
Beyond the dance floor, J writes, produces, and creates immersive cinematic experiences that blend tango, cinema, theater, and visual storytelling—crafting worlds where movement becomes narrative, and art becomes a living experience.
